L&W strives to comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards at the local, state, and federal levels. This includes obtaining and maintaining all necessary permits and licenses related to our operations.

Resource Conservation
Energy Efficiency: L&W strives to reduce energy consumption by implementing energy-efficient technologies, practices, and utilization of renewable energy sources. We encourage the use of sustainable materials during the process of operations, as well as general common-sense conservation. As part of this policy all employees are encouraged to ride-share when possible. We also encourage the use of electric vehicles – for which charging stations have been provided.
Water Conservation: L&W will, to the best of its ability, without sacrificing the quality of production, minimize water usage through efficient processes and regular maintenance of equipment to prevent leaks and wastage. All employees are encouraged to conserve water and report any type of water waste.
Raw Material Optimization: L&W works to minimize waste by optimizing our material usage, reusing materials where possible, and recycling materials when appropriate. All employees are encouraged to follow these policies and properly recycle materials as instructed by their supervisor.

Pollution Prevention
Air Quality: We will employ measures to reduce air emissions from our operations. This includes maintaining and upgrading our ventilation systems and using environmentally friendly lubricants and chemicals.
Waste Reduction: We continue to minimize waste generation and implement recycling and disposal procedures that adhere to environmental guidelines. Hazardous waste will be handled and disposed of in accordance with relevant regulations. Employees are encouraged to recycle, avoid using single use products when possible.
Sustainable Procurement: We will source materials and products that have a minimal environmental impact, when possible. This includes considering the environmental credentials of suppliers and favoring products with a lower carbon footprint and reduced packaging.
